Charlottesville, VA

Life on the road is an education. The people we meet are fascinating and full of stories. Folks are the same regardless of the venue - church or coffee house. People need to be known. My friend Lauran Bethell taught me that.

I'm learning that song writers have a "hook book." A notebook in which they write ideas and thoughts for songs. I think preachers have hook books too. I do. I bet Susan and Meg do as well.

So, what's in your hook book today? What songs are you writing? What sermons are you preaching? What ideas are propelling you forward? We are all waiting to hear them.
